How it all started...
OUR HISTORY
Victory Christian Fellowship came to Red Deer in 1995. Founding Pastors, Dale & Maxine Edmunds successfully lead the vibrant and growing church for 10 years, starting out in the Lower Fairview area before purchasing the building at its current location in Oriole Park in 2003. In January of 2006 Chuck & Joyce Roth were installed as Lead Pastors. The name was changed to Victory Church of Red Deer and the goal was to be a place where people are comfortable, feel loved and grow in their understanding of God and His ways. In January 2023 Pastor David and Tara Thordarson were installed as the new Lead Pastors.
OUR PRESENT
Today, Victory Church of Red Deer is home to about 200 people. It’s a place where many people have found new life and hope through relationship with God and His people.
OUR FUTURE
Our desire is to continue to be a safe, comfortable home for people in our community and city, and to continue to impact the world around us through service!
